New judge appointed to vacant West Virginia Circuit Court
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — Michael Olejasz has been appointed a circuit judge in West Virginia’s Northern Panhandle.
Gov. Jim Justice announced the appointment Monday to the 1st Judicial Circuit. Olejasz fills a vacancy created by the retirement of James Mazzone.
Olejasz most recently served as an assistant prosecutor in Ohio County. Before that he was the managing partner of a Wheeling law firm and served as a police officer in Wheeling.
