Jaybird Tarah Pro headphones built for serious athlete

The Jaybird Tarah Pro headphones feature an impressive 14-hour battery life, which should get the most extreme ultra-runners through any workout.

Salt Lake City-based Jaybird Sports is known for its wireless earbuds designed for serious athletes. For those who like to spend a lot of time on the trail, the Tarah Pro is well worth the investment.

A step-up from the Tarah model, the Pro features an impressive 14-hour battery life, which should get the most extreme ultra-runners through any workout. (Plus the fast-charge function allows you to get two hours of battery life in just five minutes when you forget to charge them the night before.)

The woven fabric neckband connecting the two earbuds is a big improvement from the plastic found in cheaper models, and the earbuds also can be magnetically connected to each other, which is a nice feature to keep them on your neck when you want to talk to someone for a while.

They’ll also power down after five minutes without use to preserve your charge. Don’t worry about the weather, as they are weatherproof, sweat-proof and water-resistant.

Of course, the most crucial test for any running headphones is how they fit, and the Tarah Pro features silicone ear gels that pass the test with flying colors. You can even customize the sound experience through the Jaybird app, which lets you adjust the sound to your specific preferences.
