Callery Hits 100-point Milestone for Dracut/Tyngsboro

Senior forward Jake Callery scored a first period goal that gave him 100 points for his varsity career as Dracut/Tyngsboro beat Swampscott, 5-2, in a non-league boys hockey game.

Boys hockey

Kyle McManus, Joe Gagnon, Andrew Dickson and Mikey Collett tallied 1 goal each for Dracut/Tyngsboro.

Brian Workman dished out 3 assists.

Dan Warner, Brian Cebula, Ben Warner and Jared DeBruin chipped in with 1 assist each.

Preston Wilson (17 saves) earned the win in goal.

Groton School 4

Middlesex 1

Junior Luke Beckstein from Tyngsboro paced the offense with 3 goals as Groton School skated past Middlesex in an ISL game.

Marc Borghi netted the other Groton School goal.

Kevin Clark made 21 saves in net for the Zebras.

Groton School (19-6-1) will host arch-rival St. Mark’s on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Stoneham 5

Shawsheen 2

Stoneham skated past Shawsheen Tech in a non-league game.

Sean Murphy paced the Rams’ offense with 1 goal and 1 assist.

Dan McGaffigan scored 1 goal, while Jonah Varrallo notched 2 assists for Shawsheen (8-7-5).

Rams goalie Kam Neault made 27 saves.
