Idaho State fell 5-0 on Sunday at Davis Field to Northern Colorado.

The Bengals (2-11, 1-5 Big Sky Conference) were led by Makena Bambei’s five shots and Jenna Parkhurst’s two shots on goal.

Northern Colorado (8-6, 4-1 Big Sky) scored three goals in the first half, including a pair of goals in the first seven minutes of action.

“They are far and away the best team in our conference, so they posed a threat in every line,” ISU coach Allison Gibson said. “We shot ourselves in the foot by giving up two goals in (eight) minutes. You can’t do that and expect to win.”

Idaho State plays Friday at Idaho.
