Students supporting students

September 17, 2018

According to the Nebo School District, the student council at Springville Junior High reached out to fellow students at Salem Junior High School affected by the fires Monday.

“They recognized that some of our students are stressed and worried about the Pole Creek fire as it threatens their homes,” the school wrote on its website.

The students at Springville Junior High School sent a large banner with messages of support to the school in the neighboring community. They also sent a thousand hand-written notes with treats attached that will be handed out to students.

“We are very touched by the love and support that the students at Springville Junior have shown during this time,” the school wrote.
