December 31, 2018

HUNTINGTON — Did you get a gift card for Christmas that you don’t plan to use? Sheetz is offering all customers the opportunity to exchange unwanted gift cards from the holidays for Sheetz gift cards.

With over 200 merchants accepted such as Walmart, Victoria’s Secret and more, customers can trade them in for gas, made-to-order food, coffee, smoothies and more, according to a Sheetz news release.

The way it works is first you go online to https://sheetz.cardcash.com and enter the merchant name and card balance for a fast and easy offer.

Next, you enter your card number, PIN and basic customer information. After that a Sheetz eGift Card will be emailed to you within one business day, according to Sheetz. Your card can be used online at Sheetz.

How much will those participating receive in return for their gift card? According to Sheetz, every brand is different.

“In order to find the exchange value for your card, please enter the brand name of the gift card and the balance to receive an offer,” the release states. “You are under no obligation to exchange your card, and we will not retain your gift card information if you do not confirm your exchange.”

Sheetz is also accepting partially used cards with any balance remaining on the gift card. Also, you don’t need to mail in your gift card and you can also exchange more than one gift card. However, they cannot accept gift card that have an expiration date.
