NORWOOD, Mass. (AP) — Police say a suspect has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Norwood and subsequent police chase that ended with a crash in Walpole.

The suspect, who wasn’t identified, was seen getting into a pickup truck with a snow plow attachment after robbing Central Market in Norwood on Thursday.

A Walpole officer spotted the truck on Route 27 and pulled the suspect over. Police say the vehicle sped off and was pursued as it made its way onto U.S. Route 1 toward Interstate 95.

After police diverted the car back toward Walpole, the suspect lost control and crashed on Route 27. The driver was apprehended at the scene.

Police say a second suspect was involved but it’s unclear if they were arrested.
