MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) _ Justin Bivins ran 11 yards for the winning score as Ball State rallied from 17 points down in the fourth quarter for a 30-27 overtime victory over Ohio University on Saturday.

Ohio University (3-3, 2-1 Mid-American) had taken a 27-24 lead on the first possession of overtime on Brian Huston’s 34-yard field goal.

Ball State (3-3, 2-1) tied the game on Brent Locklicar’s 30-yard field goal with 6:46 left in the fourth quarter, but Ohio went up 24-17 with 2:59 left when Steve Hookfin dashed 46 yards for a touchdown.

Ball State tied it again on Brent Baldwin’s 10-yard scoring pass to Ed Abernathy with 1:13 remaining. Baldwin completed 15 of 19 for 139 yards.

Ohio took a 14-0 lead on a pair of 2-yard TD runs by Kareem Wilson, who rushed for 100 yards and passed for 95. Huston’s 24-yard field goal made it 17-0 at halftime.
