Week’s worth of weather with wind, showers, sunshine, snow in forecast
The rain showers most of the region woke up to will taper off by 9 a.m., leaving behind cloudy skies and light wind for much of the day and a high temperature near 62 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
Rain is expected to return tonight with a chance of thunderstorms between 2 and 3 a.m. That pattern likely will continue through 3 p.m. on Tuesday with the addition of winds from the southwest between 10 and 18 mph and gusts as high as 33 mph.
Tuesday night will be partly cloudy and windy with a low around 43 degrees.
Wednesday and Thursday could be the only days this week with sunshine until the weekend, according to the weather service.
Both days will have mostly sunny skies with a drop in temperature from earlier in the week.
Wednesday could reach a high near 55 with an overnight low around 35 degrees.
Thursday will only get to 47 degrees with a night time low around 38 and a chance of rain after 11 p.m. mixing with snow after 1 a.m.
Showers are likely Friday with a drop in temperature from a day-time high near 47 degrees to an overnight low around 30 degrees.
The weekend forecast calls for sunny skies and temperatures ranging from a high near 39 degrees on Saturday, dipping to a low of 26 overnight, then a high near 42 on Veterans Day, according to the weather service in Moon.
