Full weekend of music at River City Blues Fest
MARIETTA, Ohio — The 28th annual River City Blues Festival is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, March 15-16, at the The Lafayette Hotel located at 101 Front St., Marietta.
The event schedule will showcase:
• Friday at 5 p.m., High Schools That Rock: this event is free and open to the public.
• Friday night doors open 7 p.m. with Annika Chambers on stage at 8 p.m. followed by a 9:45 p.m. show featuring Curley Taylor & Zydeco Trouble. Tickets are $30.
• Saturday doors will open at 11:30 a.m. with the River City Blues Competition taking place from 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. to be followed by The Delgado Brothers at 4 p.m. Tickets are $30.
• Saturday night doors open at 7 p.m. for show starting at 8 p.m. by Selwyn Birchwood and a 9:45 show of Billy Branch and the Son of Blues. Tickets are $40.
