The Associated Press is partnering with the Institute for Nonprofit News (INN) to offer additional state news coverage.

Beginning July 14, AP will distribute content from five INN members to AP subscribers in Minnesota and Wisconsin as part of a pilot program. The five INN members are:

--Wisconsin Watch

--Midwest Energy News

--Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service

--Midwest Center for Investigative Reporting

The stories, many of which will include photos, will move in advance for weekend use. AP will review and select material from these partners that will be of interest in your markets. There is no additional charge to use this content. The stories and photos will be transmitted in your regular state wire feed and available via AP Newsroom. A description of stories will be listed under the “Extra” section of the state news digests. The pilot will last about six to eight weeks.

If you have questions or feedback on the pilot, contact Midwest Regional Director Kia Breaux, 866-832-2347 or kbreaux@ap.org. Questions about stories and photos should be directed to Upper Midwest News Editor Doug Glass, 612-332-2727 or dglass@ap.org
