PITTSBURGH (AP) _ Pittsburgh Steelers long snapper Mike Schneck is expected to miss several games with a dislocated right elbow.

Schneck was injured early in the third quarter of the Steelers' 30-17 loss Sunday to Oakland. He was replaced by tight end John Allred, who is expected to keep the job until Schneck returns.

The Steelers are idle Sunday, but Schneck could miss the Sept. 29 game against Cleveland and the Oct. 6 game at New Orleans.
