″God” Needs First and Middle Name, Judge Says
SAN RAFAEL, Calif. (AP) _ A judge has decided that a man who wanted to change his name may now be called God - for short.
Enrique Silberg initially asked to change his name to just God but Marin County Superior Court Judge David Menary balked. He said there had to be a first name and preferably a middle name.
Silberg settled on Ubiquitous Perpetuity God.
″I don’t think anyone is going to confuse him with a name like that,″ Menary said Wednesday.
