MILWAUKEE (AP) _ The Milwaukee Bucks signed forward Mirsad Turkcan to a contract for the rest of the season on Wednesday.

The New York Knicks waived the 6-foot-9 Turkcan on Feb. 9. He appeared in seven games for New York this season after playing five seasons in Turkey where he averaged 10.3 points a game and 6.2 rebounds a game.

The Bucks also said Wednesday that forward Darvin Ham has a knee injury and was put on the injured list.
