Beaver Dam Police Beat: Sept. 24 and 25, 2018

Accident — Police responded to an accident between two vehicles near the intersection of Lombardi Street and Vincent Street at 7:36 a.m. on Monday.

Threat — An employee at a nursing home in the 400 block of Roedl Court reported that a patient had been drinking and making verbal threats the night before at 10:30 a.m. on Monday.

Theft — Police received a report of medication theft on North Center Street at 11:16 a.m. on Monday.

Disorderly conduct — An officer reported seeing a man that appeared to be smashing a window on a vehicle in the 300 block of East South Street p.m. on Monday. Another officer made contact with the man and found that it was his own vehicle and everything was OK.

Noise complaint — A man reported a silver GMC Yukon with a loud stereo in the 100 block of East Mackie Street at 4:47 p.m. on Monday. An officer checked the area and the caller said the vehicle left before officer arrival.

Unwanted person — A woman reported a man was at her residence in the 100 block of Lakecrest Drive and destroying the apartment at 5:06 p.m. on Monday. Officers made contact and found that the man was there to retrieve his dog. The two were counseled and separated.

Theft — A man reported his purple and black Kint BMX bicycle with blue rims and sprocket was stolen from the 400 block of Madison Street at 7:51 p.m. on Monday.

Noise complaint — Police responded to a complaint of loud music coming from an apartment in the 300 block of Rosendale Street at 8:23 p.m. on Monday. The music was gone upon arrival. The two people are having ongoing issues. The caller later called back and said the neighbor turned the music back up. Other tenants said they could not hear music. There was light music coming from the door.

Domestic issue — Police responded to a report of a fight between a man and a woman in the 100 block of Lakecrest Drive at 8:24 p.m. on Monday. The man was taken to jail for domestic disorderly conduct and bail jumping.

Harassment — A woman reported that another woman was harassing her through fake social media accounts at 10:39 p.m. on Monday. The second woman said the caller did the same thing last week. They were both advised to report fake accounts.

Disorderly conduct — An anonymous caller reported two people fighting in the 100 block of East Maple Avenue at 4:26 a.m. on Tuesday. Police made contact with a man and a woman. The woman was taken to jail for domestic disorderly conduct.

Sexual harassment — Police responded to a report of a man exposing himself to a woman in the 400 block of Roedl Court at 11:12 a.m. on Tuesday. The man denied the incident. Police completed a report.

Theft — A man called police to report medication theft in the 100 block of Lakecrest Drive at 11:22 a.m. on Tuesday but refused to meet with an officer to file a report.

Domestic issue — Police responded to a physical incident between a woman and a man in the 100 block of Fourth Street at 11:44 a.m. on Tuesday. The woman was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and she was later released.

Theft — A man reported lights were ripped off his garage in the 1300 block of Lakeshore Terrace at 11:54 a.m. on Tuesday.

Disorderly conduct — Police responded to an incident between a male and a female at the library, 311 N. Spring St., at 8:34 p.m. on Monday. An officer made contact with the male and sent information to a school resource officer.

Threat — A man reported a customer was threatened at a business in the 2000 block of North Spring Street at 1:05 a.m. on Wednesday and the suspect took off in a vehicle. Police made contact with a woman there and found everything was OK.
