Flash flood warning: Adams, Van Wert

The Journal GazetteMay 28, 2019

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning until 9:15 p.m. for Adams County, Indiana, and Van Wert County, Ohio.

At 5:10 p.m., radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area, the weather service said. It said heavy rain would move across Adams and Van Wert counties through 6:30 p.m.

Many locations across the warning area have received very heavy rain during the last 24 hours, the weather service said, and additional heavy rain would likely lead to flash flooding.

Locations to experience flooding include Decatur, Berne, Geneva and Monroe in Indiana and Van Wert, Delphos, Convoy, Ohio City, Middle Point, Willshire and Wren in Ohio.
