BISMARCK, N.D. — Increased traffic due to oil activity and population growth in western North Dakota have prompted state wildlife officials to work with state transportation officials on safe road crossings for wildlife. A recent highway expansion near Williston included an underpass designed for moose, and officials are recommending more underpasses for bighorn sheep, mule deer and other animals. SENT: 130 words.
