Authorities ID bicyclist, 60, killed in Cambridge crash
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — Authorities have identified a 60-year-old bicyclist who was killed in a crash involving a tractor-trailer in Cambridge.
The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office says Bernard Lavins, of Lexington, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Wednesday morning. The driver of the truck, who wasn’t identified, remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
It’s unclear whether the driver will face criminal charges. The crash remains under investigation.
