JACKSON, N.J. (AP) _ A van crashed through a fence at a safari park Sunday, injuring 10 people.

Three people were taken to a hospital after the accident at Six Flags Great Adventure's safari park. Their conditions were not immediately available. Seven others were treated at the scene.

Park spokeswoman Pat Klingensmith said the driver, identified only as a 55-year-old New York man, suffered a medical problem while driving through a section where monkeys are exhibited. Klingensmith did not know the man's ailment.

The van carrying 11 family members and friends accelerated and crashed through a fence into an area for elk and bison.
