MOUNT OLIVE, N.J. (AP) — Police say a Pennsylvania man who was struck along a New Jersey highway has died.

New Jersey State Police say 53-year-old Marc DiRaimo was hit by another car after pulling over to the side of Route 80 Saturday afternoon.

State Police Sgt. Jeff Flynn says DiRaimo had parked his truck behind an unoccupied vehicle that was disabled by an earlier crash when he was struck by another pickup truck.

DiRaimo was pronounced dead at a local hospital at 2:15 p.m.

Flynn has identified the driver that struck DiRaimo as 63-year-old Dioris De Jesus Fermin.

Flynn says Fermin was also injured in the crash, but his injuries are non-life threatening.

No charges have been filed, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
