Five people jailed on felony charges

BARBOURSVILLE — Five people have been jailed on felony charges since Friday afternoon, according to booking records kept by Western Regional Jail.

Hazel Black, 38, was jailed at 5:30 p.m. Friday. Authorities in Mason County charged her with third-degree sexual assault, third-degree sexual assault, incest and filming explicit conduct of a minor. Bond was set at $200,000 cash only.

Randall Allen Eplion Jr., 30, was jailed at 9 p.m. Friday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with receiving/transferring stolen property and persons prohibited from possessing a firearm. Bond was not set.

Samantha Lewis, 32, was jailed at 9 p.m. Friday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with receiving/transferring stolen property. Bond was not set.

Steven Allen Metheney, 25, was jailed at 6:10 p.m. Friday. Authorities in Lincoln County charged him with probation violation. Bond was not set.

Devin Reece Adkins, 37, was jailed at 12:10 a.m. Saturday. Authorities in Wayne County charged him on an unspecified felony warrant. Bond was not set.
