Marquez dislocates shoulder in British GP warmup
SILVERSTONE, England (AP) — Moto GP championship leader Marc Marquez of Spain has dislocated his left shoulder in a fall during the warmup for the British GP at Silverstone Sunday.
The 20-year-old Honda rider had his shoulder put back into place and will compete in the race. The accident occurred at Vale corner, where Marquez collided with the Yamaha of Cal Crutchlow, who had crashed at the same corner moments earlier.
Marquez, who will start the race from pole position, has won his last four races and is 26 points clear at the top of the title standings.
