SAINT VINCENT, Italy (AP) _ Unseeded Pedro Rebolledo of Chile won his first Nabisco Grand Prix tennis tournament Sunday, defeating Francesco Cancellotti of Italy 7-6, 4-6, 6-3 in the final of the $121,000 Aosta Valley event.

The stocky, 26-year-old Chilean took two hours, 10 minutes to down Cancellotti, also unseeded, in a baseline battle on the red clay court of this Alpine casino town.

Rebolledo won $20,000 - more than his entire 1986 prize money earnings - and the Italian received $10,000.

The two players rarely ventured to the net, engaging instead in long rallies and waiting for the other to miss.

The first set lasted more than one hour as Rebolledo took a 5-3 lead, only to let the Italian reel off three straight games for a 6-5 advantage. The Chilean held serve for 6-6 and breezed through the tiebreaker, which he won 7-3.

In the second set, Cancellotti got a decisive break in the seventh game for a 4-3 lead and went on to close out the set with a backhand passing shot down the line.

Rebolledo broke serve in the second game of the third set and Cancellotti never recovered. The Chilean finished the match with a forehand volley.
