Man knocks out man in bar fight; man caught driving 84 mph on Keystone Parkway: Brook Park police blotter

Verbal-physical altercation, Snow Road: A Brook Park man, 45, and a LaGrange man, 29, argued and fought each other at about 2:20 p.m. Nov. 6 outside Front Row Bar & Grill, 15119 Snow.

One of the men was knocked out and taken to Southwest General Hospital in Middleburg Heights. Police didn’t say which man was knocked out. The man who was knocked out didn’t want to press charges or provide information to police. The other man was gone by the time police arrived.

Operating a vehicle under the influence, Keystone Parkway: A Cleveland man, 30, was arrested at about 2 a.m. Nov. 10 after police saw him driving 84 mph on Keystone, a 35-mph zone.

The man drove an additional 2 miles before stopping for police. He was drunk. The man’s passenger, a 33-year-old Cleveland woman, was also arrested after police determined she was wanted.

Personal injury, Holland Road: A police officer was injured at about 11 p.m. Oct. 29 while arresting an offender.

The offender was drunk and had been kicked out of Amber’s Cabaret on Brookpark. When police arrived, the offender was kicking on the door to Amber’s in an attempt to re-enter. The offender ran from police. The officer hurt his palm and wrist while wrestling the offender to the ground.

Grand theft vehicle, Wolf Road: An unlocked Yamaha YZ250 motorcycle was reported stolen at about 1 p.m. Nov. 11 from a backyard. The motorcycle had been parked behind a shed.

Theft, Smith Road: A wallet containing cash and a cell phone were reported stolen at about 2:25 p.m. Nov. 10 from an office in Dollar General, 5785 Smith.

The office door had been left open. The theft was recorded on security video. Police said an unidentified male entered the office and grabbed the wallet and phone.
