NH drinking water conference will address wells, projects
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — An upcoming conference on protecting drinking water in New Hampshire will address a statewide private well sampling initiative and projects related to lake management, land conservation and public health, among other topics.
The 2019 New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services Drinking Water Source Protection Conference is scheduled for Thursday, May 16, at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord.
The event will feature scientists, state and federal officials, and water supply managers, who will present their work and views.
Other topics include the New Hampshire Drinking Water and Groundwater Trust Fund; updates to New Hampshire’s drinking water source protection strategy; and drinking water source protection priorities at the national, regional, and state level.
