Country singer Olivia Lane opens for Filmore at Stamford’s Palace Theatre

Olivia Lane, one of Rolling Stone magazine’s “Country Artists You Need To Know,” will be opening for Filmore at Stamford’s Palace Theatre Friday, May 17.

Lane will be performing songs including “Make My Own Sunshine,” her most recent single “Hey 3AM” and the fan favorite “You Got Me,” which was featured on Spotify’s New Music and Apple’s Best of the Week playlists.

Lane’s mother was a local Texas country singer who inspired her to sing and start writing songs at age 16. She ultimately landed in Nashville, where her self-titled debut EP stirred interest throughout and beyond Music Row in 2016.

Headliner Filmore is steadily gaining a following through his engaging videos and relatable lyrics, encompassed in his latest release, “Unreal.” His hit single “You Know You Wanna” was released on 7/7/17 and is play listed on Spotify’s Wild Country. CMT has featured Filmore and his video “Goodnight” on its multi-platform artist discovery channels and his 2016 EP “Proof” landed on Spotify’s US Viral Top 50 Playlist, peaking at No. 12. It has more than 2 million spins on Spotify.
