Police search for missing Huntington teen

January 6, 2019

HUNTINGTON — Police are looking for a 13-year-old girl believed to have run away from a Huntington youth home on Thursday.

Natalie Smith was in the care of the Cammack Children’s Center, but did not return there before an 8 p.m. curfew Thursday, according to a Cabell County Sheriff’s Department post on Facebook.

It is believed Smith is traveling with four or five other children, rumored to have attempted to board a city bus headed for Barboursville. However, the driver of the bus would not let the children on board.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Huntington Police Department at 304-696-4470. If you know of Smith’s location, you are asked to call Cabell County 911 at 304-526-8444 or dial 911.
