Schedule set for visits to 20 restaurants in Cleveland’s Best Barbecue finals; Join us for amazing BBQ

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland’s Best Barbecue contest is about to get really interesting.

Comedian Mike Polk Jr. is once again serving as celebrity host as the Cleveland’s Best team visits the 20 restaurants across the region that made it to the final round. Remember, you the readers will be the ones who decide the winner based on your daily online votes through Aug. 28 at 9 a.m. Scroll down past the schedule of visits to vote in the Day 2 poll.

As you vote for your favorite, Polk, reporters Brenda Cain and Yadi Rodriguez and manager Kristen Davis will be visiting the 20 restaurants that readers voted to the finals. The visits begin today -- July 30 -- and we invite you to come out and enjoy a rib with us. The full schedule is below.

The 20 visits will include taste test reviews, more photos and videos, all of which will be published on cleveland.com. If you can’t make it out, you can watch each taste test because we will broadcast each visit live on cleveland.com’s Facebook page starring Polk, Cain, Davis and Rodriguez.

While the BBQ is the highlight of this contest, we will also be tasting all of the delicious sides that go along with good barbecue and will publish the Best of the Best in those categories and more next month.
