PRIMM, Nev. (AP) — Nevada authorities say a man and a woman were killed in when a car went off northbound Interstate 15 and rolled about 9 miles (14 kilometers) from the Nevada-California line.

The Nevada Highway Patrol say the car was being driven recklessly before the driver lost control and it veered off the highway and into the desert late Friday night.

Trooper Jason Buratczuk says the car’s occupants weren’t wearing seatbelts and were rejected.
