According to the affidavit, Watts told police that he went into a rage and strangled Shanann only after seeing her doing the same to their children via a baby monitor.

One of Shanann’s friends reported the three missing on Aug. 13 when Shanann, who was 15 weeks pregnant with a son, missed a medical appointment.

The three were later found on property owned by Anadarko Petroleum Company, Christopher’s employer up until he was arrested on Aug. 15. The two girls were placed in an oil tank and Shanann was buried nearby.

According to the affidavit, Christopher told police that he dumped all three bodies after killing Shanann.
