Ash-West Superintendent Looks Back
When Ashburnham-Westminster Superintendent Gary Mazzola retires on June 30, he will spend the summer relaxing and playing the piano at parties, but now he reflects on his career and work with the district.
Mazzola said the district has come a long way since he arrived in 2015.
“It’s been an honor to have served here for the last four years,” he said. “I think what we have accomplished here has been monumental and we should all be proud of that.”
Mazzola, originally from Franklin, has spent the last 36 years serving districts across the state.
He graduated from the University of Dayton in 1983, graduating with degrees in music education and elementary education.
