Darlington County deputies make arrest in Monday shooting death
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – A Hartsville man has been arrested in connection with the Monday shooting death of Renardo Jamal Davis on East Old Camden Road.
Terrele Rashon Bailey, 24, of Hartsville has been charged with murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, possession of a weapon by a convicted violent felon and robbery. Bailey is in custody at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center and is expected to appear before a Darlington County Magistrate Thursday, according to a release from the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office.
Bailey’s arrest followed the agency’s serving of a search warrant at a residence on Mimosa Drive Wednesday night.
“Due to the community coming forward with information and the hard work of my investigators we were able to make an arrest,” said Darlington County Sheriff Tony Chavis through the release. “Our investigation continues, and we encourage anyone with any additional information to come forward.”
