CRANBERRIES SINGER DOLORES O’RIORDAN ACCIDENTALLY DROWNED
LONDON (AP) — The surviving members of The Cranberries say they are continuing to struggle to come to terms with what happened in the death of singer Dolores O’Riordan. A coroner’s inquest found that O’Riordan died of accidental drowning brought on by alcohol intoxication. A police officer testified O’Riordan was found in her pajamas in a bathtub in a London hotel in January. Five miniature bottles of alcohol and a bottle of champagne were found in the room. The Cranberries say O’Riordan lives on eternally in their music and it’s been a comfort to see how much of a positive impact she’s made on people’s lives.
