Waupun Police Beat 3-25 to 3-31, 2019

Traffic stop — Monday, March 25, at 5:08 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on Bronson St at Carrington St. A 28-year-old Brandon man was cited for operating after suspension.

Traffic stop — Tuesday, March 26, at 7:57 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on South Watertown Street at Wilcox Street. A 22-year-old Lowell man was cited for operating after suspension.

Suspicious vehicle — Tuesday at 5:38 p.m., police made contact with a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of Shaler Drive. An 18-year-old Waupun man was cited for underage alcohol consumption. A 17-year-old Waupun juvenile was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Traffic stop — Wednesday at 6:21 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on Elm Avenue at West Brown Street. A 20-year-old Waupun man was taken into custody for operating with a restricted controlled substance. The man was also cited for operating after revocation and was later released to a responsible party. A 16-year-old Waupun juvenile was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Traffic stop — Thursday at 9:41 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on South Watertown Street at East Brown Street. A 31-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for operating after suspension.

Check Welfare – Thursday at 9:55 a.m., police responded to Waupun Memorial Hospital for a welfare check of a suicidal 50 year old Fox Lake woman. The woman was voluntarily committed at a mental health facility.

Drugs – Saturday at 12:53 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on Bly Street at West Main Street. A 22-year-old Waupun man was cited for possession of controlled substances.

Traffic Stop – Saturday at 2:52 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on East Main Street at Moore Street. A 35-year-old Waupun woman was cited for operating after suspension.

K-9 – Sunday at 1:51 a.m., K-9 Boomer and Officer Ryan Schneider assisted Beaver Dam Police with a vehicle sniff. K-9 Boomer alerted to illegal substances inside the vehicle. Controlled substances and drug paraphernalia were located and three subjects were taken into custody by Beaver Dam Police.

Check Welfare – Sunday at 1:51 a.m., police responded to Waupun Memorial Hospital for a welfare check of a suicidal 27-year-old Waupun woman. A safety plan was put in place.

Disturbance – Sunday at 2:05 p.m., police responded to a residence in the 800 block of Pioneer Avenue for a physical domestic disturbance. A 40-year-old Waupun woman was taken into custody for disorderly conduct. The woman was transported to Fond du Lac County Jail.

Traffic Stop – Sunday at 9:30 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on East Main Street at South Drummond Street. A 20-year-old Waupun man was cited for operating without a valid driver’s license.
