Cowboys Re-Sign Jason Tucker
DALLAS (AP) _ Wide receiver Jason Tucker, one of the biggest surprises for the Dallas Cowboys last season, re-signed with the team Monday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Tucker, who joined the Cowboys last season after a year in NFL Europe, moved into the starting lineup when Michael Irvin went down with a career-threatening neck injury in the first game.
Tucker led Dallas with a 19.1-yard average, finishing with 23 catches for 439 yards. He had two touchdowns, including a 90-yarder against the New York Giants in the final game of the season.
Tucker had two catches for 35 yards in the Cowboys’ first-round playoff loss to Minnesota.
The Cowboys also signed free-agent kicker Jaret Greaser, a Texas Tech graduate.
