I-64 bridge project to squeeze traffic

GRAYSON, Ky. — A more than $1 million bridge repair project over the Little Sandy River will lead to one-lane traffic along Interstate 64 east of Grayson, according to a news release from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

Joint repairs on the bridge at mile marker 172.6 are scheduled to start this week, depending on the weather, will lead to one-lane traffic in each direction during work hours between 7:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Bridge repairs and painting also are scheduled along U.S. 60 west of Grayson and on I-64 over Tygarts Creek just west of Olive Hill at mile marker 161, according to the release.
