CHICAGO _ The dominating win in Tuesday’s runoff election of the first black woman as Chicago mayor signals hope for many in a city plagued with a history of corruption, crime and racial divide. WARREN, Ill. _ The funeral is set for an Illinois State Police trooper killed when she was struck by a truck during a traffic stop. Services for Trooper Brooke Jones-Story are planned Wednesday afternoon at Warren High School in the northern Illinois town of Warren near the Wisconsin border. The 34-year-old is one of three Illinois troopers killed in traffic crashes so far this year. NEW YORK _ Six states and the District of Columbia have sued the Department of Agriculture, saying it weakened nutritional standards in school breakfasts and lunches when it relaxed the requirements affecting salt and refined grains last year. The lawsuit filed Wednesday in Manhattan federal court asks a judge to overturn the changes, saying they were carried out in an arbitrary and capricious manner. NEW YORK _ Grammy-winning artist Che “Rhymefest” Smith didn’t have plans to become an actor, but that changed when Emilio Estevez’s mom saw his documentary about reconnecting with his long-lost father, who had been homeless for decades. Estevez’s mom saw Rhymefest’s doc when her son was working on “The Public,” a drama about homeless people who refuse to leave a public library during a brutal winter night. —BBN--WRIGLEY FIELD-ACCESSIBLE SEATING: Wrigley Field’s renovation has added wheelchair-accessible seats following a federal lawsuit filed last year.

—ARCELORMITTAL-WORKER DEATH: Officials have released the name of a steelworker who died in a train accident at the ArcelorMittal Indiana Harbor steel mill in northwestern Indiana.

—ILLINOIS-ONLINE WATER SYSTEM REPORTS: Illinois residents are now able to review the number of lead service lines in their community’s water system.
