Police blotter: One jailed in connection with robbery
HUNTINGTON - The following information was provided by criminal complaints filed in Cabell County Magistrate Court:
ROBBERY: One person was arrested in connection with a robbery that occurred Thursday evening at a bus stop on the corner of 5th Avenue and 28th Street in Huntington.
Tyler William Mullins, 27, was jailed at 9:45 p.m. Thursday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with first-degree robbery. Bond was $50,000.
According to the complaint, the victim and the suspect had a conversation about the purchase of a set of headphones and a pack of cigarettes. The suspect allegedly left the scene and then returned and asked the victim if she knew what it was like to get ripped off. The suspect then pushed the victim and took her wallet.
The suspect fled and was later apprehended by Huntington police with the stolen property.

The Huntington Police Department listed 15 new incident reports in the 24-hour period ending at 3 p.m. Friday, according to the printout released by the department. However, the individual police reports were not made available, so these are the only known details:

Possession of a controlled substance, 2:19 a.m. Friday, 800 block of West 5th Avenue.
Destruction of property - misdemeanor, 10 p.m. Sunday, 1600 block of 10th Avenue.
Obstructing an officer, paraphernalia, 12:35 a.m. Friday, Collis Avenue and 24th Street.
Arson - third degree - burning personal property of another of the value of $500 or more, 12:50 a.m. Friday, 1600 block of 10th Avenue.
Deceased person, 11:35 a.m. Thursday, 500 block of Norway Avenue.
Robbery - first degree, 7:20 p.m. Thursday, 28th Street and Highlawn Avenue.
Battery, 4:45 p.m. Thursday, 21st Street and 7th Avenue.
Missing person, 11 a.m. Sept. 10, Huntington.
Information report, 1 p.m. Wednesday, 600 block of 10th Street.
Deceased person, 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, 400 block of West 9th Avenue.
Petit larceny, destruction of property - misdemeanor, 6 p.m. Wednesday, 400 block of 7th Avenue, Guyandotte.
Warrant service/execution, 5:35 a.m. Thursday, 1600 block of Doulton Avenue.
Obscene, anonymous, harassing and threatening communications, 11 p.m. Sept. 9, 600 block of 22nd Street.
Domestic battery, warrant service/execution, 2:42 a.m. Thursday, 400 block of Miller Street.
The following information was provided by booking records kept at Western Regional Jail:
Gabriel Babette Warren, 45, was jailed at 2 p.m. Thursday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with being a fugitive from justice. Bond was not set.
