HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP Figueras leads Bassick softball to win

BRIDGEPORT — Millenia Figueras singled, doubled and had seven RBIs, as the Bassick softball team outslugged Harding for a 34-22, six-inning victory Friday afternoon at Went Field.

Angelinis Rodriquez-Medina added three hits and four RBIs for the Lions (1-13), who won their first game since the 2013 season.

The Presidents’ record fell to 0-15.
