Legion Auxiliary plans bake sale, theater event

American Legion Auxiliary Pitterle-Beaudoin Unit 189 will host upcoming events:

-- A bake sale and mini craft fair will be held Saturday at Shopko. Homemade bakery and crafts will be available from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit veteran projects.

-- The American Legion Family Christmas at the Theater will be celebrated Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Towne Cinema, with a special showing of Disney’s “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” the sequel to “Wreck-It Ralph.”

Military and Legion family children enter free with a paid adult. Admission is $4 for all other attendees. An adult is required to stay with children for the morning. Doors open at 9:30 a.m., the movie runs at 10 a.m. and Santa will stop by to hear wish lists and hand out goodie bags. Concession specials will be offered.

An RSVP is required to assure all children receive a treat. To do so, call Mary Petrie at 261-8161. Reservation deadline is Dec. 5.
