CORAOPOLIS, Pa. (AP) _ Dexter Dunbar scored 28 points and blocked Hal Koenemund’s 3-point attempt with one second left Saturday as Marist won its sixth straight game, defeating Robert Morris 80-77.

Marist (13-7, 9-3) trails first-place Rider by half a game in the Northeast Conference. The Colonials (3-18, 1-12) lost for fifth consecutive game and the 16th time in 17 games.

Robert Morris trailed by 10 with 2:12 remaining but Bubba Donnelly’s four 3-pointers made it close. Donnelly finished with a career-high 27 points.

The Colonials’ Seth Truman missed a 3-point shot with 18 seconds left in the game, and Robert Morris got the rebound and called a time out. Marist called two more time outs before Dunbar’s block, which was collected by Marist’s Alan Tomidy.

Dunbar scored 19 of his points in the first half, and Danny Basile scored 24 of his 26 points in the second.
