Italian eateries, memory care community come to northwest Houston

Olive Garden in Spring: traditional cuisine, modern design

A new 7,916-square-foot Olive Garden opened Nov. 19, in Spring.

The new location, managed by 22-year veteran of the Olive Garden family Wade Jones, aims to offer Olive Garden’s traditional Italian dishes in its most modern restaurant setting, including new décor and a new logo.

According to restaurant representatives, the restaurant seats over 250 patrons and brought 150 jobs to the area.

Olive Garden is located at 6955 North Grand Parkway West.

Memory care facility in Cypress assists seniors, families

Eden Memory Care, a new assisted living community in Cypress, opened mid-September with 16 beds to serve seniors in a comfortable and safe long-term environment, states an email from Aftab Ghesani, CEO and operating partner of Eden Memory Care. Educational and support resources are also available for families at the new Eden Memory Care.

The assisted living community scheduled a grand opening celebration for Nov. 29.

Eden Memory Care is located at 13058 Grant Road.

New York-style pizzeria opens in Spring

The new Russo’s New York Pizzeria location at Grand Parkway Marketplace has been serving the Spring and Tomball area communities for a few weeks now, and wished to celebrate their presence in the community with a ribbon cutting and grand opening scheduled Nov. 28.

A charity night is planned for Dec. 4. From 4 to 8 p.m., the Russo’s location will donate 20 percent of proceeds to The Pure Mutts Animal Sanctuary, according to a press release.

Russo’s is at 6633 Spring Stuebner Road.
