GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) _ Tamara Stocks scored 18 points and Naomi Mobley added 16 points and 10 rebounds Thursday night to lead No. 10 Florida to a 72-59 Southeastern Conference victory over Auburn.

The victory increased Florida's (14-2, 3-1 SEC) home winning streak to 12 games, while the Tigers (13-6, 1-4 SEC) lost their fourth consecutive conference game and sixth out of seven overall.

The two teams played close for most of the first half, with Florida holding the advantage for most of the half. Auburn cut the lead to 30-28 with 3:25 left following two free throws by Carol Smith, but the Gators scored seven consecutive points within the next minute to extend the lead out to 37-28.

Smith finished with 23 points for Auburn on 8-of-19 shooting.

Cold shooting and turnovers plagued the Tigers throughout the night, as they opened the game 2-for-12 and ended the game shooting only 33.9 percent. The Tigers also committed 21 turnovers, including four in a row during a three-minute span midway through the second half.

Gators backup guard Sherisha Hills left the game with 4:38 remaining after landing awkwardly on her right leg while attempting a steal. She was helped off the court by two trainers, but her condition was not immediately known.
