Beyond Meat: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) _ Beyond Meat Inc. (BYND) on Monday reported a loss of $9.4 million in its second quarter.
The El Segundo, California-based company said it had a loss of 24 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and restructuring costs, came to 1 cent per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 8 cents per share.
The plant-based meat company posted revenue of $67.3 million in the period, which also topped Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $50.9 million.
Beyond Meat expects full-year revenue of $240 million.
