Aubrey Creekmore named NFCA Pacific All-Region 3rd-team selection

May 17, 2019

Idaho State senior shortstop Aubrey Creekmore has been named the NFCA Pacific All-Region third-team. This is the first time Creekmore received the honor. The awards honor softball student-athletes from the association’s 10 regions with first, second and third-team selections. NFCA member coaches from each respective region voted on the teams, and all the honorees now become eligible for the 2019 NFCA Division I All-America squads.

Creekmore led the Bengal offense with a .400 average. She hit six home runs and had 22 RBIs while seeing time at shortstop and in the outfield.

In conference play, Creekmore hit .481 and had a .982 slugging percentage. The Bengals senior earned second-team all-conference honors and was tabbed as the Big Sky Conference Player of the Week on April 1 for hitting .778 in a three-game series at Montana.

Creekmore is the first Bengal to earn all-region honors since Kacie Burnett and Ashlyn Ames earned second and third team in 2016.
