Highway reopened after semitrailer removed from reservoir
HEBER CITY, Utah (AP) — The Utah Highway Patrol says all lanes of state Route 189 are again open after crews were able to successfully remove a semitrailer carrying butane gas that rolled into Deer Creek Reservoir near Heber City.
The Highway Patrol says removal work was completed Wednesday morning after they first removed the tractor portion of the semi from the reservoir and then the rest.
According to the Highway Patrol, the driver wasn’t hurt in the accident Tuesday.
Deer Creek Reservoir is 30 miles (kilometers) southeast of Salt Lake City.
