San Antonio Rampage have win streak snapped by Texas Stars

The San Antonio Rampage allowed seven goals during the first two periods in a 7-3 loss to the Texas Stars on Sunday at the AT&T Center.

The loss snaps a five-game winning streak for San Antonio, which is 8-13-0-0 on the year.

Adam Mascherin scored a hat trick for the Stars, while Brady Norrish, Joel L’Esperance, Denis Gurianov and Elgin Pearce also scored.

Texas netted three goals in the first period and four goals in the second. San Antonio scored once in each period, as Chris Butler, Jordan Kyrou and Jordan Nolan tallied.

The Rampage will embark on a four-game road trip beginning at 6 p.m. Friday at Grand Rapids.
