NEW YORK (AP) — Police say human remains have been found in a park in the Bronx just days after human remains were found in a Queens park.

Police say the remains, which were in two plastic bags, were discovered by a passer-by in Barretto Point Park Tuesday night.

On Friday, two bags containing human remains were discovered by a city Parks Department worker in Crotona Park. Police believe the bags contained the remains of a woman, but the victim has not been identified.

The city medical examiner's office is determining the cause of death in both incidents.
