March 25, 1999

BELGRADE, Yugoslavia (AP) _ Bracing for a second day of NATO attacks, Yugoslav authorities today said 10 people were killed and 38 wounded in the thundering waves of strikes intended to force a peace pact with rebels in Kosovo.

The army reiterated its defiance after a night of punishing strikes on more than 50 targets, saying the ``high morale of the units was preserved.″
