North Dakota Legislature approves stillborn tax credit
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Legislature has approved a bill that gives a tax credit to parents who experience a stillbirth.
The Senate unanimously approved the bipartisan measure on Friday. The House approved the bill earlier, and it now heads to Gov. Doug Burgum’s desk for signature.
The $4,150 tax credit is retroactive for the 2018 tax year.
